Senior Product Manager (Downstream)
The Senior Product Manager (Downstream) is responsible for the downstream marketing activities at SPR Therapeutics. This individual will create and implement marketing strategies and tactics to drive growth within the market through commercial programs, campaigns, and product launches. He/she will monitor and leverage customer and competitive insights to define the value proposition, create marketing strategies, and develop messaging to drive customer engagement and acceptance, ensuring appropriate use of SPR products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates and executes commercial marketing and product launch plans for product launches, campaigns, programs, and initiatives, including robust integrated channel communication plans.
- Serves as the downstream marketing resource for product and therapy support in the areas of usability, troubleshooting, device utilization, and patient follow-up for company products.
- Maintains advanced working knowledge of SPR products and competitive devices, conceives and communicates associated messaging across multiple channels such as promotional materials, events, ad/promo, etc.
- Creates and manages promotional and training messaging/communications related to product & competitive capabilities, enhancements, and improvements.
- Develops and manages creation of product-related sales tools consistent with regulatory guidelines and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Discerns potential barriers to launch and addresses them in a timely forward-looking manner while coordinating launch plans, training and seamless product introduction, transition, and obsolescence.
- Participate in trade-show planning, management and booth coverage with a special focus on competitive differentiation.
- Develops product-related materials, resources, and tools for sales staff to use in the field and provides or organizes training to optimize sales team effectiveness versus direct competitors. Maintains open, effective communication with all personnel, customers, and other SPR employees.
- Demonstrates an ability to establish and build relationships with health care providers, field personnel, and internal cross-functional team members.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Competencies, Education:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5 or more years of related experience in the healthcare industry and downstream product marketing.
- Strong communication, team building, and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation skills. Ability to provide quantitative and qualitative inputs, monitor and track performance against KPIs.
- Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail.

- Ability to get the job done in a “we-can-do” environment, allowing for flexible hours, depending upon the project and/or customer needs.
- Remote or small office environment.
- Must be willing to travel (~20-30%).
SPR is a multi-state employer so the salary range may increase or decrease depending on location. This position is eligible for annual company bonus. Compensation will be commensurate with level of experience and training and pertinent education among other relevant business or organizational needs.
